Poverty Costs was Interactive Integrated Marketing Campaign developed in partnership with the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Center, The Saskatoon Health Region, Upstream, and the Saskatoon Anti-Poverty Coalition.

The campaign included an interactive educational -petition based web-site designed to education the public on the true cost of poverty in the province, a promotional video featuring child actors as poverty costs reporters, a UofS print and poster initiative, a social media marketing plan and a publicity blitz.

The objective of the campaign was to raise public awareness for the true costs of poverty while also putting pressure on provincial government to implement a comprehensive poverty reduction plan in the province.

The Results:

The government has assigned a task force and our now in conversation to move forward on implementing suggested changes.
