Happy Co-op Week 2016!

unitecoopweek2016

Unite is a worker owned co-operative. In addition to living the co-operative principles, what it means to us is having a voice, a voice in decision making, one member – one vote. Workplace democracy is not always without friction, however setting a common vision, understanding and values have helped us get over differences and strive towards greater good rather than individual benefits.

Unite started off in Saskatoon as four friends got together at a house party in 2013 as a need to do some creative work within a model that helps us get dignified and worthwhile work. Fast forward three years and we’ve helped several organizations, non-profits and local businesses with strategy and its implementation, including co-operatives and Credit Unions such as Affinity CU, Saskatchewan Co-operative Association, Renew Development Cooperative, Canadian Worker Co-op Federation among some. We’re grateful to have helped reach the objectives of our clients including brand identity, story, promise, awareness, profitability and social good, while winning national awards for our work.

We’re looking forward to the future anchored in strong values and having community wide support.
